Alibaba Cloud reiterated its commitment to support digital transformation in various sectors in the country, especially to support the digitalization of its customers in 2023.

It has been serving the Indonesian market since 2016, and for six years in Indonesia has committed to invest more resources to develop the digital ecosystem of Alibaba Cloud partners.

Alibaba Cloud is also developing a local partner ecosystem by working with experienced technology partners. This is done to expand the region and enrich the availability of solutions to support the acceleration of digital transformation in Indonesia.

The company does not only emphasize initiatives to develop ecosystem's, but also supports human resources (HR) in the digital field through the provision of training in collaboration with educational institutions. The training presented was in the form of cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) training.

Alibaba Cloud also provides other support for digitization in Indonesia in the form of technology products and services, from digital analytics, intelligent recommendations, to microservices application management and enhanced security solutions, and blockchain.

Head of Solution Architect Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Indonesia Eggy Tanuwijaya also highlighted the challenges faced by companies, such as cyber security, digital intelligence, intelligence integrity, to interoperability.

Eggy also explained that until 2022, Alibaba Cloud will focus on transforming infrastructure to the cloud. But in 2023, according to him, companies in Indonesia are ready to take advantage of the cloud for AI and blockchain.

“We've seen increased adoption of key cloud features such as mobile banking solutions, enhanced security, and AI recommendation solutions among companies looking to accelerate their digital journey. That is our reason for introducing this leading solution to our customers, apart from our strong and secure cloud infrastructure products," explained Leon Chen in his official statement, launching from Infocomputer, Friday (23/12/2022).

In particular, Alibaba Cloud will collaborate with partners to be able to support their growing demands for digital transformation. This collaboration will be carried out through the support of advanced solutions such as blockchain, digital analytics, to cyber security.

Masbutarr mentioned an increase in the adoption of various formats of cloud computing among Alibaba Cloud clients, for example, several companies are starting to adopt hybrid cloud technology.

"That is why we are working with Telkomsigma through our Apsara Stack to expand its cloud service's, to provide a hybrid and multi-cloud environment," said Masbutarr.

Leon Chen also said that in 2023 he will also focus on increasing human resources to introduce superior products, support more cloud resources in Indonesian cities, support more startups and developers, and invest in talent development and local partnership programs in Indonesia.
